Install Daylite Mail Assistant

Daylite Mail Assistant is a powerful tool that can enhance your Daylite experience. If you're new to this feature, don't worry – we'll guide you through the installation process step by step. Daylite Mail Assistant is available with both the Mac App Store Daylite application and the direct Daylite download.


For the best experience, we recommend downloading Daylite directly from us.


To get started, follow these steps to install and turn on Daylite Mail Assistant:

  1. Open your Mail application.
  2. Navigate to Mail > Settings > Extensions.
  3. Locate the Daylite Mail Assistant in the list of extensions.
  4. Turn on Daylite Mail Assistant.

The Daylite Mail Assistant window will appear with instructions for enabling the required permissions for Accessibility and Automation. You will be required to turn these permissions on.

Note: If the Daylite Mail Assistant window does not show immediately after you have installed it:

1. Quit Apple Mail

2. Hold down the Option key before opening Apple Mail.


Use the Open Settings buttons and enable the required permissions in System Settings.

Now you can open Mail, and the Daylite Mail Assistant window will show information for the selected email message.

You've successfully activated Daylite Mail Assistant and are ready to use it.
