How can I prevent email notifications from being sent?

If you would like to prevent an Email Notification from being sent when scheduling an Appointment in Daylite, follow the steps below:

  1. Create a new Appointment.
  2. For Contacts that you would like to send an Email Notification, add them to the 'Invitees' section by clicking "Add Person" (ensure that the applicable Contacts have a valid Email Address).
  3. For Contacts that you do not want to send an Email Notification to, add them to the 'Linked' section of the Appointment by clicking "Add Link". A Test Appointment in Daylite highlighting the difference between Invitees and Linked Contacts. The first will get an Email Invitation and the other will not.
