Choosing An Email Address To Compose New Emails From Daylite for Mac

When sending Letter Templates from Daylite on the Mac, Daylite uses the email address set by your default email client.

Set a Default Email Address for Apple Mail

If you always want to use a specific email account in Apple Mail, set that account as your “Send New Messages From” address.

1. Open Apple Mail
2. Go to Settings -> Composing
3. Check which account is set to “Send new messages from”

Enable Automatic Account Selection for Apple Mail

If you want flexibility, select “Automatically select best account”; Mail will choose the email for you based on the email inbox you are viewing.

Note: When using this setting, we recommend double-checking your compose window to ensure Apple Mail used the appropriate account. You can change it if needed:
