How to obtain and send the Daylite crash logs from the iPhone or iPad
If you've been experiencing constant crashes while working inside the Daylite application from your iPhone or iPad, please follow along with the steps below to locate and send your crash logs to our Technical Support Team. Feel free to follow along with our quick video demonstration on how to find the crash logs on your device here:
- On your iPhone or iPad, open your iOS settings
- Scroll down and tap Privacy
- Then tap Analytics & Improvements ==> Analytics Data
- You'll then see a long list of alphabetized items. Scroll down and look for the Daylite crash logs that should look like this as an example: "Daylite-2021-02-08-114706.ips"
- Tap this file to open it, then tap on the share button at the top right corner
- You can AirDrop this file to your Mac and then attach it to your ticket with our support team for review
- If you're not able to use AirDrop at this time, you can tap on Save to Files
- Then save it to your iCloud downloads folder
- Then launch Apple Mail and attach the logs to your ticket
If you don't have a ticket opened with our support team, you can create one here and attach those logs along with a short summary of what actions or steps were taken prior to the crash for further review
