  3. Tap Install on the profile page, and enter your iPhone Password, then tap Install and then Done - since tasks/reminders integrate with the Calendar app, we need to set up calendar sharing to help share/automate tasks.

Setting Daylite as the Default Source for Reminders

  1. Navigate back to the main screen of the Settings App on your iPhone
  2. Tap Reminders and then Default List
  3. You should see a 'Daylite - Your Company Name' header
  4. Under this header, select Inbox - this will allow your iPhone to add any new reminders to the Daylite Tasks Inbox, instead of your previous source. Previous sources may have been iCloud etc...
  5. You can now, using Siri (on your iPhone or Apple Watch) say “Remind me to…” and have a task created in Daylite!

Please ensure you have the default Reminders app from Apple installed on your phone. Without this installed, you will receive an error that there is no app configured to create tasks via Siri.

Bonus Tips!

  • Now that you have Calendar Sharing set up, you can set Daylite as the Default Calendar as well.
    1. From the Settings App on your iPhone, tap Calendars and then Default Calendar
    2. You should see a 'Daylite - Your Company Name' header
    3. Under this header, select Daylite - this will allow your iPhone to add any new appointments to the Daylite Calendar, instead of your previous source. Previous sources may have been iCloud etc...
    4. If you are unable to choose Daylite as your default Calendar and only see Category specific Calendars, then you will need to change your Daylite Preferences. From Daylite’s Menu Bar > Daylite > Preferences > Calendar Integration > Daylite Calendar in Other Apps, here you will need to change the Show Appointment as: One Calendar. You can then proceed with the steps to make your Daylite Calendar your default Calendar in your device.
  • You can also add the same configuration for Daylite on your Mac and have your default calendar and task lists set to allow Siri on your Mac to do the same thing! Follow the steps here.
  • You can also add the same configuration for Daylite on your iPhone and Mac to have new contacts added to Daylite when you add them to the contacts app on your device! Follow the steps here.
