Daylite & Mail Assistant 2021.28 Build 7168 (Aug 11, 2021)

  • You can now step through the Week and Month calendars by a smaller duration (by day in the Week view and by week in the Month view) by holding the Option key while using the View > Calendar > Next/Previous menu items. For the Month view this only works if your Calendar Preference setting is set to "Show week and month: looking forward from today".

  • Using a plug-in with Daylite now requires user approval. When installing a plugin, a prompt will be shown for the user to give it access to Daylite.

  • Daylite on macOS Big Sur will now correctly prompt to Save changes when closing a Letter Template that has unsaved changes.

  • Fixed an issue where clicking "Show in Daylite" opened a new window to show the item instead of using the existing window.

  • Done Tasks now respect the "Remove Done Tasks Daily" preference and will clear automatically on the next day.

  • Fixed an issue where Emails in Daylite would sometimes display buttons off the screen if there were several addresses in the To or Cc fields.

  • Fixed an issue that caused the default width of the detail pane in the detail/activity split view to be too narrow.

  • Fixed a crash that could sometimes occur when adding/removing contacts from Groups.

Daylite & Mail Assistant 2021.17 Build 6895 (May 17, 2021)

  • Additional Calendar preference options have been added to customize your view (Daylite > Preferences > Calendar). Choose how many hours to show at a time, change how much or little of an appointment is shown (name, location, details) and choose which day of the week to start on.

  • Fixed an issue where dragging new items to the Favorites bar on macOS Big Sur showed the wrong insertion position.

  • Fixed an issue where clicking on a record item in the Favorites bar would not work when Daylite was in fullscreen mode.

  • Fixed an issue where choosing "Write Email" caused Apple Mail to split the name into two recipients if the contact has commas in their name (or other common delimiters).

  • Sort order set to Groups will be correctly applied to Subgroups as well.

  • Fixed an issue where accepting a meeting invitation from macOS Notification Center did not update the status of the meeting in Daylite.

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when viewing an email that contains an ICS file in Apple Mail with Daylite Mail Assistant enabled.

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when importing delimited data if the unique option is enabled for the “Company (Overwrites Default Organization)” destination field.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented new child objects (i.e. Note, Task, Appointment, Form) from inheriting their parent object (i.e. Company, Person, Project, Opportunity) permission preset properly.

  • Fixed an issue where the Task status checkbox state would not update correctly after the status was changed.

  • Fixed an issue where the "Last Sync" time was not displayed in the File menu.

Daylite & Mail Assistant 2021.4 Build 6621 (Feb 10, 2021)

  • Contact Integration wording of "Shared People" and "Shared Companies" has been renamed to "Show in Other Apps" throughout Daylite.

  • Fixed a performance issue with Daylite Mail Assistant that was caused when viewing emails with large file attachments in Apple Mail.

  • Fixed a few areas that didn't update right away when changing the apps text size.

  • Fixed an issue that occasionally caused Daylite Mail Assistant to crash Apple Mail when viewing emails with meeting invitations.

  • Fixed an issue where the columns in the "Current Estimate" view could not be resized.

  • Fixed an issue where content may not be displayed when viewing Emails in the Email list view.

  • Fixed a crash that could sometimes occur when adjusting the Tasks & Pipeline splitter in Projects and Opportunities.

  • Fixed an issue that caused the Details pane size to reset in Multi-Column List view after switching views.

  • Fixed a crash that could occur with a resized Details pane that contains linked items.

  • Minor fixes to Dark Mode.
