Switch to the Direct Download Channel

If you installed Daylite from the Mac App Store, your version of Daylite does not include the Daylite Mail Assistant for Apple Mail. Switching to the “Direct” build of Daylite allows you to use the Daylite Mail Assistant. This does not impact your existing Daylite data. 

Check which build of Daylite for Mac you have

  1. Open Daylite
  2. Go to Daylite > About Daylite
  3. After the version number, it will indicate either “Direct” or “App Store”

Switch to the Direct Download build of Daylite

  1. Sync Daylite
  2. Quit Daylite
  3. Go to https://www.marketcircle.com/downloads/ and download “Daylite & Mail Assistant for macOS”
  4. Move the newly downloaded Daylite file into your Applications folder and click Replace.
