You attempt to sync the local copy of your Daylite database and you get a "Sync failed" alert. Daylite then opens a window asking you to verify your credentials as the username and/or password has changed for your user account.
Why is this problem occurring
This can happen if someone has changed your Daylite username and/or password.
You will have to reset the password in Daylite Server Admin. Do the following:
- In Daylite Server Admin, click the lock button and authenticate with a Mac OS X administrator credentials.
- Click Database.
- Select your database.
- Click Advanced.
- Change a Password...
- In the sheet that opens, do the following:
- Select a user.
- Enter the new password.
- Confirm the new password by re-entering it.
- Click Change Password.
