Daylite Server Admin does allow you to host multiple Daylite databases on a single computer. When running a multi-database environment there are certain considerations that must be taken into account.
Daylite Server Admin only allows a single database to be accessible on iPhones and iPads. This is called the Primary Database. The Primary database is also the only database that can share appointments and contacts to other applications using CalDAV and CardDAV. To change the primary database, follow the steps in our support article How can I specify a primary database.
Additionally, when you create multiple databases, additional licenses will also be required. The total active users across all databases must be equal to the total number of seats in your license.
While Daylite does offer the ability to have multiple databases, to simplify your experience we do strongly recommend that you use a single database.
