When trying to login into Daylite 4 for iPhone and iPad, you keep getting prompted with an alert stating "User Name Required: You must enter a user name in order to log in." You have confirmed that the credentials you are using to login are correct but the app does not connect.
- Double-tap on the home button to bring up the list of recent apps
- Swipe up on the Daylite app to remove it from the list
- Launch Daylite 4 for iPhone and iPad again
- Attempt to login again
The app should start downloading your database at this point. After your database is downloaded, the app may quit unexpectedly and present you with a crash report when relaunched.
Note: This issue stems from an iOS 8 bug, which we have filed with Apple. In the event that the bug is fixed, we will update this article accordingly.
