You have just edited an invoice template. When done, you select the slips for invoicing and click Send Invoice. At first, nothing happens, but when you try to send the invoice again, Billings Pro opens an alert:
Why is this problem occurring
In reality, there is no other invoice window that is open. Clicking OK opens the invoice window but you now don't see any of the standard templates and you experience issues with previewing/creating the invoice.
- In Billings Pro, choose Billings Pro -> Preferences and click Templates.
- Double-click the invoice template that you're encountering the problem with. This opens the invoice edit window.
- At the right-hand side of the window, under Info, expand the "Attributes" menu.
- Verify that a name has been entered. If there is no name, please enter a name and choose File -> Save. Close the invoice edit window and try to create the invoice again.
Note: If there are multiple invoice templates in the "Templates" preferences, please go through them one-by-one to ensure that a name has been entered for all of them according to the steps mentioned above.
