Identifying the size of your database is important for understanding and managing your database. A larger database will take longer when downloading a local copy as well as when doing backups. Larger databases mean larger backup files and this may require you to start considering altering your backup strategy.
To check out the size of your database do the following:
- Open Daylite Server Admin
- Choose the Database Pane
- Select your Database you want to review
- Locate the Database file size
- Daylite 5 and 6
- Daylite 4
If you are concerned about the database size, you can run the File Archiver to move file attachments out of the database to a different location.
