Before launching the Daylite application on your iPhone or iPad, you notice a red notification badge hovering over top of the Daylite icon. This badge indicates that there is a notification waiting to be reviewed in Daylite. After launching Daylite, you realize that all notifications have already been cleared.
Why is this happening?
There is a strong possibility that the Daylite and Apple syncing mechanism is in a frozen state which is why the notification badge remains even though you have Dismissed, Accepted, or Declined any items in your notification list on your Mac and iOS.
To remove the red badge from Daylite, please perform the following steps below
- Open Daylite on your iPhone.
- Create a Test appointment with a notification to trigger within a few minutes.
- When the notification appears on your device, dismiss it.
- Then exit Daylite and check to see if the badge has disappeared.
